What do you want to ask?

Please note that while we  welcome enquiries about the  history of Cirencester and its  environs, we are NOT a family  history society. For family history  enquiries contact the  Gloucestershire Family History  Society . This has a Cirencester  branch. Those interested in local  history research may like to look  at our publications pages and on  the local studies page of the  Bingham Library Trustees site,  before asking questions to which  the answers are readily available  If you would like an item on local  history or archaeology published  or wish to make a local history  enquiry please contact David  Viner.

Help wanted !

We are keen for more members to  come forward to assist running  meetings, learning how to set up  projectors and sound, dim lights,  man desks etc., to cover for those  times our normal volunteers are  away. Tech skills not needed.  There is a written sheet on how  the stuff fits together. Please talk  to us at a meeting! Would you like to write a report  for the newspaper of a  forthcoming talk? 300 words only.  Let us know as soon as possible  after the programme for the year  is published. Your report will also  be published in these pages
